Step out the front door to take a 500 metre stroll, east down Harvey Street, to the patrolled swimming beach or the grassy riverside which offers an ideal place for picnics, barbecues, canoeing/ kayaking, peddle boating, fishing or just relaxing under the shade of the teatrees. You will be amazed at the view of rolling waves and golden sand.
Only 50 metres across the road to the heathland lookout, and the views to Point Roadnight and the Split Point Lighthouse at Aireys Inlet will take your breath away. Search the heathland and you will find plenty of native flowers and trees. Spring time is especially colourful with wild freesias flourishing, their beautiful perfume wafting throughout the Anglesea region.
The surf beach is patrolled in the holiday season and offers good surf for most of the year. Go Ride a Wave operates classes and fun things to do whilst you are holidaying in Anglesea.

The deep aero spa bath allows for private thinking time. Close your eyes and let the air bubbles gently massage, relax and soothe your body. After your bath, slip in between the crisp white sheets for a perfect nights sleep, restoring your energy for the next days activity - golfing, swimming, sailing, surfing, bush walking. Local Attractions:

Coogarah Park provides the children with hours of entertainment with its ""shipwreck"" playground, walking tracks and boardwalks. There is a skateboard ramp near the caravan park. For dining, a short stroll will take you to several restaurants and cafes will treat you to scrumptious meals, the hotel has counter meals, the golf club caters for meals and pokies or there is takeaway from fish and chip shops, pizza and chicken shops. Breakfast can be found at the cafes in the main street if you can't be bothered cooking yourself! If you like golf the course is fantastic, and even if you don't, just walking around watching the ever present kangaroos is good fun. This is one place where overseas visitors are guaranteed seeing kangaroos on the hop! All you need to bring is your suitcase!
