• The Danger 1000 Swim in January
• Surf Coast International Triathlon in February
• Rip Curl Pro Surf & Music Festival, Bells Beach at Easter. The 37th annual Rip Curl Pro Surf and Music Festival is the world’s longest running ASP World Tour contest and a huge event on Victoria’s sporting calendar. Held from April 7 to 18 – including the four-day Easter long weekend – the Rip Curl Pro brings the world’s best male and female surfers to Torquay for Stop 2 of the ASP World Tour. The event also boasts a two-day music festival (April 11 and 12), plenty of parties and other activities in and around Torquay.
• Cowrie Community Market held on the third Sunday of every month (Sep - Apr). Located Torquay Foreshore, between Gilbert Street and Anderson Street. Homemade, environmentally friendly, homegrown, high quality goods.
• Surf Coast Living Green Festival in October
• High Tide Festival held in December. Torquay High Tide Festival is a community festival. The festival is held in the streets, public spaces and some indoor venues throughout Torquay. It occurs on the first weekend in December with lead up activities in the preceding weeks. The festival is held to celebrate the local culture and residents commitment to living in this beautiful coastal area.
